INFERTILITY

Infertility in men and women

What is infertility,causes and treatment:

Infertility happens when a couple cannot conceive after having regular unprotected sex.

It may be that one partner cannot contribute to conception, or that a woman is unable to carry a pregnancy to full term. It is often defined as not conceiving after 12 months of regular sexual intercourse without the use of birth control.

Causes in men

Semen and sperm: Semen is the milky fluid that a man’s penis releases during orgasm. Semen consists of fluid and sperm. The fluid comes from the prostate gland, the seminal vesicle, and other sex glands.

The sperm is produced in the testicles.

When a man ejaculates and releases semen through the penis, the seminal fluid, or semen, helps transport the sperm toward the egg.

Now what causes infertility in men:they are as follows....

(1)Low sperm count: The man ejaculates a low number of sperm. A sperm count of under 15 million is

Considered low.

(2)Abnormal sperm: The sperm may have an unusual shape, making it harder to move and fertilize an egg.

(3) low sperm mobility:The sperm cannot “swim” as well as they should to reach the egg so that fertilisation can take process.

Another major cause of this problem is sexual transmitted Diseases (STDs),if not we'll treated it can cause a lot of damages as already listed and can also affect the performance of the man.there are also minor symptoms that helps to show that one has such infections...like too much complaint of waist pain, watery sperm, quick ejaculation and sexual weakness.

Other causes may include:

Some diseases: Conditions that are sometimes linked to lower fertility in males are anemia, Cushing’s syndrome, diabetes, and thyroid disease.

Genetic factors: A man should have an X and Y chromosome. If he has two X chromosomes and one Y chromosome, as in Klinefelter’s syndrome, the testicles will develop abnormally and there will be low testosterone and a low sperm count or no sperm.

Causes in women

Age: The ability to conceive starts to fall around the age of 32 years.

Smoking/alcohol:Any amount of alcohol consumption can affect the chances of conceiving and also smoking weakens the body system especially the eggs during fertilisation.

Being obese or overweight: This can increase the risk of infertility in women as well as men.

Sexual transmitted Diseases (STD's):

can damage the fallopian tubes in a woman and cause inflammation in a man’s scrotum if not we'll treated.

Other minor causes are ...scanty menstruation, ovulation disorder, mental problems.

Another major cause of infertility in women is ABORTION:

Sometimes, a doctor may accidentally injure nearby organs in an abortion. Examples include the uterus or bladder. The risk that this will occur increases the further along a woman is in a pregnancy.

The more one engages in it the more the chance of getting pregnant is reducing because the reproductive organs are being stressed, and a lot of damages occurred.

So health agents, doctors even nurses will hid the truth from you,but could you muster up courage and ask them if they will allow their wife, daughter or close family member to do ABORTION, absolutely they won't..they might prefer hiding the person till she gives birth or even changing her location because they are fully aware of the complications that may result after that , although we are not saying that anyone who does abortion will never conceive, far from it ..we are simply making all to understand that abortion can lead to infertility because of the complications that due occur, pls friends don't be fooled.

FIBROID SURGERY

The specific complications and their likelihood depend on the type of surgery that a person chooses, but they can include:

anesthesia-related risks

infections

heavy bleeding

failed surgery

regrowth of fibroids

damage to the uterus or other surrounding organs

in the case of morcellation, spreading cancer

But be aware that any surgery on the uterus can potentially damage the reproductive organs and affect future pregnancies and create chance of miscarriage.

DILATION AND CURETTAGE (D&C)

What is D&C: well,it's a surgical procedure often performed after a first- trimester miscarriage and also it refers to opening the cervix and removing the contents of the uterus.

Can it affects women chance of getting pregnant? absolutely it can if not handle or perform carefully..e.g ...(1) scarring of the uterus or cervix will cause some damages if not handle with care and may lead further treatment.(2) laceration or weakening of the cervix(3) perforation or puncture to the uterus.

All this factors we have take time to discuss causes infertility in both men and women.

But there's goodnews,we LIFE IS PEARL SPECIALIST HERBAL CLINIC WITH COMPUTER LABORATORY , through the natural elements God provides for we humans we use them to help our friends to recover from this sickness,we give treatment to the core ,we believe in God ,we treat or prescribe medications but God is the ultimate healer ...pls I wish you all good health and safety in this time of the end.
