We LIFE IS PEARL SPECIALIST HERBAL CLINIC WITH COMPUTER LABORATORY wants to use this medium to educate our friends, neighbours and we'll wishers concerning the things we take and foods that can promote our health.


You can improve your health by keeping a balanced diet. You should eat foods that contain vitamins and minerals. This includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy, and a source of protein


Let's listen to this scenario: Mr A claims that he is watching his weight and wants to maintain a balance diets,but in each of his meals let's begin with his breakfast.


BREAKFAST: Chocolate tea drink,5-10 loaf of bread,jam,Margerine,fried egg with cheese .


LUNCH:2 Plates of cooked rice,chicken, soft drinks (coca cola),


SUPPER: Wheat or yam flower,soup with beef and fishes,...

Now can you say that Mr A is truthful to himself,will he be able to achieve his goal? absolute not...what's the lesson there ...LETS BRING IT HOME...


But let's give Mr A another chance....


BREAKFAST:oats with boiled egg or green tea with fried egg.

LUNCH:small quantity of rice or better still beans in sauce ,

SUPPER: fruit juice or eat some fruits like bananas, watermelon or cucumber .

Also engage himself on exercise like brisk walking, jogging or swimming for at least 30-45 mins.

Absolutely he will keep his weight balance.

Another factor that causes overweight or potbelly is eating late at night.


Eating late at night can lead to several health hazards like increase in blood sugar levels, heart diseases, obesity and acidity. Basically, the later you eat, the less your body is prepared to sleep, which can also have adverse effects on your memory and efficiency for the next day.

Normal time for our supper suppose to be around 4:30-6:00 pm in the evening so that our body will have much time to work on those foods before bedtime,but when we eat late it will create more jobs to our body system in working on those foods and this can leads to indigestion, constipation and other health hazards.

Let's now take time to discuss foods that can help improve our health...

God created varieties of foods ,we have cereal,legumes,fruits and vegetables all this helps to promote our health if only we ear them in moderation.

No foods is bad to eat but we want all listening, reading and following us to know that all foods we have on eat can be consumed but in moderation, therefore to maintain a healthy balance diets food we should try to make our food balanced by....


(1) Eat in moderation


(2) Eat vegetables


(3) Avoid focusing on what particular meal instead mixed up with others


(4) Eat less fatty foods ,less alcohol and sugary beverages

(5) Engage in exercise for at least 3 times In a week

If you apply all this things good health to you.
